Thankfully the May 2020 issue of ‘FlyPast’ was published as normal, despite the ongoing shambles and ‘lockdown’. In it I have my latest profile feature, this time on the Westland Wessex helicopter (nine pages). I was very happy to write that one, bearing in mind my Dad’s long connection with Westland Helicopters in Yeovil. Also in the same issue is the latest of my mini-series articles for the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, this time on the Spitfire (four pages).
