RAF ‘Starter Trolley’
The ubiquitous ‘trolley-ack’ (sometimes called a ‘putt-putt’) was used on RAF airfields during World War Two and post-war to aid starting the engines of aircraft. This nicely-preserved example is in the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum. May 2019.
